Availability of gifts during Covid-19:
We are open and available to talk to you and answer all your questions between 9 am – 5 pm Monday to Friday. Please note some of our suppliers are working on a part time basis or still have staff on a part time basis, therefore if you require anything urgently, please contact us first to avoid disappointment. Please be aware that Royal Mail and courier services are still taking longer for deliveries than normal due strikes.
VAT & TAX Rules for parcels sent to the EU ( from 1st Jan 2021)
As from the 1st January 2021 the UK has left the EU and this has changed the VAT rules for EU customers from 20% to 0% VAT. All items on our website are shown inclusive of UK VAT at 20% (VAT Number GB 643 4069 44) However when you now place your order and once you have filled in your EU billing and delivery address, the 20% VAT will automatically be deducted from your order in the cart. Please note you could be asked to pay the VAT in your own country, as no VAT or Tax has been paid yet at this point. This is out of our control and will depend on the purchase value and country.
We have taken an average Postage cost of £18.50 for Europe and £22.50 outside Europe, however, depending on the weight, size & country, this cost may vary. Tregawne reserve the right to amend the postage cost for sending any parcel abroad depending on the above. We of course will inform you should this be the case. Tregawne cannot be held responsible for any Postal delays when sending abroad as this is beyond our control.
Delivery Abroad
As each gifts has a different weight, we have taken an average cost of postage to ship abroad, however, depending on the weight, size & country, this cost may vary. Tregawne reserve the right to amend the postage cost for sending any parcel abroad depending on the above. We of course will inform you should this be the case.
Returns
If you placed an order with us via our website, or by email, telephone, or letter, the Distance Selling Regulations 2000 legislation gives you the right to cancel your order before delivery, and obtain a refund of the value of the goods purchased. However we must be notified in writing by letter or email of your intention to cancel and, in the case of goods already despatched, Tregawne reserve the right to withhold refund on postage incurred by us, even if your parcel was sent for free by us. You are then entitled to a refund as explained in the next section. Please note that this right of cancellation or return does NOT apply to items made to your particular specification in regard to personalised and engraved items.
Postal Strikes
It is your responsibility as a customer to chose the correct postage method when ordering. Tregawne are not responsible should your parcel be delayed by Postal strikes and we are therefore not obliged to issue any refunds.
Re: Refunds
Our delivery costs are not refundable unless products are faulty. Once your goods are received at our premises, they will be checked for fault/damage. If found to be in original and merchantable condition, a refund will be issued within 7 days. Please note we do not refund for postage for any items returned unless faulty.
Any faulty items or any discrepancies must be notified to Tregawne within 48 hours of receipt. In this case, you will be required to re-package the item in its original presentation box and packaging if possible . You will be liable for the security of the item in transit to our office, so please do ensure the goods are returned in secure packaging, using a recorded mail or special delivery service.
